I have walked this many times and it is not particularly strenuous. But it was quite tricky to keep within my mindfulness practice. I tried to focus on just the walk and as I got a little out of puff, the challenge was to stop my usual tirade of abuse on myself 'You can go a bit faster' and 'You really are unfit'. Because I had to let ALL thoughts go, I became kinder to myself! And I really felt the work of my muscles and lungs. It actually felt easier. Hmmmmm.... note to self: things get easier when you stop nagging!
My usual invitation remains: I would love to hear from you! Namaste.
